us Fortnite is one of the most popular games in the world. There are three game modes within Fortnite: “Save the World”, “Creative” and “Battle Royale”. You can play Fortnite with your friends and on many different devices: for example on your desktop, your smartphone and your PlayStation.
You can play the game itself for free, but it becomes even more interesting and extensive by purchasing the so-called V-Bucks. Curious about what V-Bucks are, what you can do with it and where you can buy it? We will explain it all to you.
What are V-Bucks?
What are V-Bucks? V-Bucks (Vindertech Bucks) is the currency you can use to pay in Fortnite game. With this currency you can buy certain content such as outfits, tools or weapons (skins and gliders) and Battle Passes. Playing Fortnite itself is free, but certain items cost money. You can get V-Bucks in two different ways: on the one hand by saving them by playing the game, on the other by purchasing them.
Where can you spend your saved or purchased V-Bucks? If you play Save the World, you can find the extra content in the Vindertech Store. If you play Battle Royale, you can spend your V-Bucks in the Item Shop or Battle Pass.
With V-Bucks you buy skins (which change the appearance of your character by, for example, outfits), gliders (items that players use to jump from the Battle Bus to get to the island in Fortnite Battle Royale) and dances ( read: the victory dance you can use when you have defeated your opponents, in front of your opponent).
How do you get free V-Bucks?
You don’t want to buy V-Bucks, but want to save or earn? How do you get free V-Bucks in Fortnite? How do you earn V-Bucks and when do you get V-Bucks?
First of all, make sure you don’t fall for the well-known internet scams, where you could get free V-Bucks on certain websites. The scammers behind these scams try to steal your Fortnite account – and therefore your personal information – in this way. So the following are the only ways to get V-Bucks for free.
- By logging in daily:
By logging into your Fortnite account every day you earn free V-Bucks. You will earn V-Bucks from the eleventh day of daily login. This is not the fastest way to get V-Bucks, but probably the easiest way. A kind of “getting rich while sleeping”.
- By completing Daily Quests:
This only applies to Save the World. Every day you receive a daily quest, where you have to perform a certain task. By completing these challenges you will earn a fixed number of V-Bucks, ranging from 50 to 100. Can you use V-Bucks earned in Save the World, for example, in Battle Royale? Yes, that’s possible.
- By completing Battle Pass Challenges:
These challenges can be found in Battle Royale. If you have a Battle Pass, you can play and complete multiple Challenges each week (thus earning V-Bucks). If you don’t have a Battle Pass, you have access to three Weekly Challenges to earn V-Bucks. For example, a Battle pass challenge could be “killing a certain number of players”. You will receive battle stars as soon as you complete a battle, with which you can eventually expect rewards such as a set of V-Bucks.
How to buy V-Bucks?
Are you not making free V-Bucks fast enough and do you still want to get V-Bucks safely? Then you can also buy them. How do you buy V-Bucks? Simply by opening Fortnite on the platform for which you bought the gift card, and in which account you have topped up your account balance, go to the Store tab and purchase the desired number of V-Bucks there. You cannot spend V-Bucks purchased on your PlayStation on another device. Once purchased content with your V-Bucks is available on any device that is linked to your Fortnite account. Dan makes. Per device or platform (such as PlayStation, Google Play and XBox) there is a different way in which you can buy V-Bucks. You buy a gift voucher / gift card / ecard for your platform in the store (for example Primera) or online. Then you exchange the code on your device, in the way that the device prescribes. The balance you bought will then be credited to the account balance of your account. You then have to redeem this credit in-game (in Fortnite).
