Like Simpel and Youfone, Lebara is an MVNO. This means that Lebara does not have its own communication network but sells mobile telephony as a paid service under its own brand using the communication network of another operator. Lebara is therefore a mobile telecommunications provider and uses the premium (4G) network of KPN.
Lebara stands out from many other providers because it also offers many bundles that allow international calling, i.e., outside the EU.
