Terms and Conditions

Last updated: 01-07-2025

ReloadBase B.V. believes it is important that you know what to expect. These general terms and conditions explain what you can expect from us and what we expect from you when you use our services or place an order. We have carefully drafted this document to ensure transparency and clarity about our mutual rights and obligations.

Article 1: Definitions

In these terms and conditions, the following definitions apply:

  • Company: ReloadBase B.V., established in the Netherlands, registered with the Chamber of Commerce under number 97284041, operating via www.reloadbase.com.
  • Customer: any natural or legal person who places an order with ReloadBase.
  • Consumer: a natural person acting for purposes outside their trade, business, craft or profession.
  • Company Customer: a natural person, legal entity, or partnership acting within the scope of a trade, business, craft or profession.
  • Agreement: any agreement concluded between ReloadBase and the Customer, including digital deliveries.
  • Products: digital goods such as gift cards, e-money, prepaid credit cards, phone credit, game cards, top-up codes, and subscription codes.
  • Digital delivery: delivery via e-mail or direct display on the screen.

Article 2: Applicability

  • These general terms and conditions apply to every offer by ReloadBase and every agreement concluded between ReloadBase and the Customer.
  • Deviations from these terms and conditions are only valid if expressly agreed upon in writing.
  • By placing an order, the Customer accepts these terms and conditions.

Article 3: Offer and conclusion of the agreement

  • The offer on the website is without obligation and does not constitute a binding offer by ReloadBase.
  • The agreement is concluded once payment has been successfully completed through the checkout process.
  • ReloadBase reserves the right to refuse or cancel orders in case of (suspected) fraud or abuse.
  • The Customer can modify entered data before completing the order.
  • If a term has been agreed upon for performance or delivery, this term is never fatal. In case of exceeding the term, the Customer must notify ReloadBase in writing and grant a reasonable period to still perform.

Article 4: Delivery

  • Products are delivered exclusively in digital form, via e-mail or direct display on the screen.
  • Delivery normally takes place immediately after payment. In exceptional cases, delays may occur.
  • Delivery will be made to the address specified by the customer during checkout. This address must be accurate and, where applicable, correspond with the address entered with the payment provider, as it may be used as the definitive delivery address.
  • The Customer is responsible for correctly entering their e-mail address. Incorrect entry is at the Customer’s own risk.
  • The personal link and code must be carefully saved by the Customer, as these provide access to the digital products.
  • ReloadBase is not liable for delays, except in cases of intent or gross negligence.

Article 5: Right of withdrawal

  • Since these concern digital products whose performance starts immediately after payment, the right of withdrawal is excluded.
  • By accepting the order, the Customer explicitly agrees to digital delivery and waives the right of withdrawal.
  • The reason for exclusion is that digital products are immediately usable after delivery and cannot be returned.

Article 6: Liability and complaints

  • ReloadBase is not liable for damage resulting from improper use of the delivered digital products.
  • If a code or product does not work, ReloadBase will investigate whether there is a technical fault. If so, a replacement product will be provided free of charge.
  • Complaints must be reported within 7 days after delivery.
  • Defects must be reported by the Customer within two months after discovery.
  • The limitation period for complaints regarding defects is two years from the moment of notification.
  • ReloadBase is not liable for indirect damage, consequential damage, or personal injury, except in case of intent or gross negligence.
  • Liability is limited to direct damage and to the invoice amount of the relevant product.

Article 7: Payment and prices

  • All prices stated include VAT. Any additional service costs will be clearly indicated during the checkout process before the order is finalized.
  • Payment is made via the offered secure payment methods.
  • For payments via third parties (such as PayPal, iDEAL), the conditions of those parties apply.
  • In case of late payment, ReloadBase is entitled to suspend delivery and charge statutory interest and collection costs.

Article 8: Fraud and misuse

  • ReloadBase reserves the right to block transactions and deactivate accounts in case of (suspected) fraud or misuse.
  • In case of fraud, no refunds will be given and legal prosecution may follow.
  • ReloadBase may request additional documents for verification if unlawful use is suspected.

Article 9: Force majeure

  • ReloadBase is not obliged to fulfill obligations if this is impossible due to circumstances beyond its control, such as technical failures or internet issues.
  • In case of force majeure, ReloadBase may suspend performance or terminate the agreement without liability.

Article 10: Customer service

  • For questions or complaints, ReloadBase can be contacted via hello@reloadbase.com.
  • Messages are usually answered within 24 hours on business days.

Article 11: Applicable law and disputes

  • All agreements are governed exclusively by Dutch law.
  • Disputes will preferably be settled amicably. If this fails, disputes will be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands.
  • The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG) does not apply.

Article 12: Alternative dispute resolution (ADR)

  • The European Commission offers a platform for online dispute resolution: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr
  • ReloadBase is neither obliged nor willing to participate in dispute resolution procedures by a consumer arbitration board.
