F1 2020 new features
Game developer Codemasters has added several new features to F1 2020, we have listed them for you here:
After 35 years, Formula 1 would finally be driven in the Netherlands, due to the corona pandemic this was canceled. Fortunately, it is possible to drive on the Zandvoort digital circuit. The Zandvoort circuit has been added to the Formula 1 game, so you can race with Dutchman Max Verstappen on his circuit! In addition to the Zandvoort circuit, the Hanoi circuit in Vietnam has also been added. For example, Codemasters has been able to expand the racing experience even more with two new circuits.
It was a big loss in F1 2019, the possibility to race against each other in Splitscreen mode. We had to wait a few years for it, but the Splitscreen mode is back in F1 2020. Now race in different Grand Prix at home against your friends.
The game has been released in three editions, namely: Standard Edition, Seventy Edition and Deluxe Schumacher Edition. The Seventy Edition offers you as a gamer extra free downloadable content (DLC), this because of the 70th anniversary of Formula 1. The Deluxe Schumacher Edition offers even more extras, such as Michael Schumacher racing and you can drive in four of his legendary cars.
If you have already bought the game, you may have encountered a rather familiar voice in the game. Olav Mol, Dutch commentator and presenter of Formula 1, has given his voice to the game. In this way he makes the racing season even more realistic with his voice!
The biggest new feature is the “My Team” mode, in which you can be the team manager of your team in addition to the driver. Choose your own team name, design your own logo, select sponsors and sign a new teammate. In addition to the racing that you already do in your racing career, you also manage an entire team where you have to take many factors into account. In the beginning you start with a teammate from Formula 2, because you do not yet have enough budget for a larger driver. During the season you are responsible for the departments that make improvements to the car. As the eleventh team, compete in the World Championship as a manager, and as a driver.
